How To Reach Sonamarg

If you start your journey from Srinagar and travel by road, you will be in Sonamarg in approximately 2 hours. The distance between Srinagar and Sonamarg is around 80 kilometres. You can alternatively take a taxi or a bus if it is more convenient for you. If you need a cab, it is advisable to take a shared one because it will be less expensive. Between Rs. 2500 and Rs. 3000 is the usual taxi fare from Srinagar to Sonamarg.
